Die rumänischen Tierschützer berichten heute:
Elena just came out of a meeting with the Ps director and after a new conversation with the vet Maxim. She said the adoptions rules change again, and today the vet of Ps ware told buy the administrator of the shelter not to come to castrate the dogs because the adoption papers ware not done. Until now the adoption papers ware done in the day the dogs left, because otherwise, during the time the dogs waited their transport we ware reproached that the Ps feeds the adopted dogs with food, instead of giving this food only to their own dogs……Now they asked Elena to make adoption papers in the day of the vaccines, and the vet Ilisoi will come to castrate the dogs when he can, not when we want, and only after the vet will be able to came we can arrange a transport date…so we will not be the ones that can say: “we need the dogs ready for the transport on 3 April”, but they will tell us:”these dogs are ready to leave on 10 April”. Also, and very IMPORTANT! If the dogs adopted will not travel as soon as possible after castration Elena must take the dogs at her home! They are only allowed to remain in the Ps a very short time after the castration was done. So Elena asks all of you to be very sure when you adopt a dog, if you abandon him as it has happen with allot of the Ps dogs after you decide to adopt, then she must take the dog herself.
A new problem that was discussed is the one of the walls that separate the cages, so the dogs will not kill each other anymore…..the administration of the shelter said that the solution Elena and the sponsors came up with, separating the cages between them with a peace of metal, is not good. They ask that the metal will be doubled with a peace of wood also, because they say, the dogs will get hurt in the metal peace. Of course, this will double the costs of this investment and maybe will make us incapable to protect all the dogs in the shelter…
Die Shelterbetreiber wollen die Hunde nur noch dann kastrieren, wenn sie meinen, das tun zu wollen.
Wenn sie es dann mal wollen, müssen die Hunde anschließend sofort den Shelter verlassen.
Zuletzt zeigt Elena Cardas, die Tierschützerin, eine Liste mit 58 zT bereits seit Wochen adoptierte Hunde vor, die immer noch nicht kastriert wurden. Da hieß es dann, die Papiere wären nicht erstellt worden. Aber das konnten die Tierschützer sofort wiederlegen.
Die Transporte mit den adoptierten Hunde können also nicht mehr vorher mit den Adoptanten abgesprochen werden, sondern die Adoptanten sollen wochenlang warten, nichts planen können, aber dann sofort losfahren, wenn die Herren es wollen. Es sei denn, sie überlegen es sich den Tag gerade mal wieder anders.
Ein weiteres großes Problem sind die gehäuften Beißerei unter den Hunden im Public Shelter. Die Tierschützer bereiteten ein Projekt vor: Metallabtrennungen sollten angebracht werden, damit die Hunde sich nicht mehr zwischen die Gitter hindurch packen konnten. Die Shelterbetreiber ließen diese Abtrennungen wieder entfernen, weil sie für die Hunde zu gefährlich seien. Sie sollen jetzt mit Holz umschalt werden, damit die Hunde sich nicht verletzten können. Ein zusätzlicher Kostenfaktor, der es den Tierschützern immer schwieriger macht, die Hunde im Shelter zu beschützen.
Unfortunately, even we ware promised day after day that the vet from PS will come to castrate the dogs, not even today the dogs that travel next week ware castrated….these will cause more problems and will make the dogs be in the impossibility to travel because of the wounds that will not be healed in time…..the problems seems to never stop. New rules are added again about the adoption procedure, things only meant to slow down the adoptions and not to allow the dogs to leave in time…
Niemand weiß, was die Shelterbetreiber bezwecken. Doch alle sind in größter Sorge um die Hunde. Um ihr Leben!
